The procedure of legal document attestation in the UAE consists of four major parts. They are as follows:

• Notarization will take place in your country of origin.
• Attestation by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in your home country
• The UAE Embassy or Consulate in your place of origin will perform the certification.
• The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs will perform the certification (MOFA)

NOC is not necessary for a foreign national on a visit/tourist visa. If the person want to establish a company in Dubai or the UAE and already has a resident visa as an employee designation, a NOC is necessary; however, if the person has an owner or investor designation visa, a NOC is not required. Another DED law states that if a person wants an instant licence, no NOC is necessary.

Many paperwork must be submitted in order to establish a free zone corporation in the UAE.
The following general papers are required to establish an FZE firm in the UAE:

• A correctly completed application licensing form
• Owner’s contact information
• Name selection for the company’s name reserve
• Business managers’ and partners’ signed MOA Passport copies

The following papers are required to receive a consultant license:

• a copy of the degree/diploma certificate indicating the required activities, or a certificate of experience (any of these documents is a must)

The following papers are required to get an industrial license:

• Existing business profile
• Business feasibility analysis
• Completed the form for the investor’s project profile correctly.

The following papers are required to get documentation for branch companies:

• Attested copies of the parent company’s registration certificate, incorporation certificate, and Memorandum and Articles of Association (MAA).
• Original Power of Attorney (PoA) and passport copy of the legal representative
